A Quick Look at my portfolio
It all began here. My foundation of my creativity was rooted in my childhood working with graphite pencils. No matter what, I always find myself coming back to this medium. I feel in the artworld graphite art can often be overlooked but to me, it is an affordable and accessible medium that can be executed beautifully. It will always hold a special place in my heart.
I started experimenting with digital art in 2019 and immediately fell in love. The versatility and accessibility of being able to make art anywhere has really attracted me. Taking my background experience with traditional art and experimenting with that process digitally has elevated my artistic style and skills. It’s become my trusted, tried, and true medium of creation. The world is my oyster when it’s me and trusty Procreate!
I started working with polymer clay one day in 2024. Since then, I’ve found myself indulging in working with my hands to create something out of a lump of clay. Becoming a better painter has also been a lovely part of this process as I hand paint all of my pieces with acrylic paint. I’m still in the depths of learning and I can’t wait to see how my expression continues to find itself within this medium.
I love the complexities of working with a multitude of media. The problem solving that comes with combining varying materials into a cohesive body of work is something that draws me in. It takes me out of my comfort zone and allows me the space to try new methods.
